In a world where resources are becoming scarcer and awareness of environmental protection and social responsibility is growing, companies are under increasing pressure to act sustainably. We at TER Chemicals are aware that we bear responsibility for our actions and must take into account the special features of our industry.
We are committed to creating transparency and communicating our efforts to act sustainably in a clear and understandable way. We have therefore opted for the EcoVadis rating and have been assessed for several years in order to make the results available to our business partners for more transparency in the supply chain.
The decision to increase transparency through EcoVadis underlines our commitment to sustainability as an integral part of our corporate culture and to promoting responsible business practices. We are convinced that this will not only benefit the environment, but also secure the long-term future of our company. Today we would once again like to inform our stakeholders about our progress.
Ecovadis Gold - once again among the top 5% in the industry
EcoVadis is a globally recognized platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of companies. In 2024, we received the gold medal in the EcoVadis rating for the second time. The gold medal puts us in the top 5% of companies in our industry - a convincing success of our continuous commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. The requirements for sustainability, and therefore for sustainable business practices, are increasing year on year, making it ever more challenging for companies to maintain and continuously improve standards at the highest level. We are therefore particularly proud to have achieved this again this year and would like to thank everyone involved for their great commitment.
Good performance - better results
Compared to the previous year, we have improved our EcoVadis rating in several areas, reflecting our efforts and the implementation of various measures that have led to this success. We have sought dialog with our stakeholders, proactively addressed our challenges and published our new environmental policy, for example, in which we position ourselves on important environmental issues and clearly define which measures are already standard practice for us. We have also further strengthened our focus on ethical business practices in order to provide our employees with the best possible support in their day-to-day work through training, e.g. in our anti-corruption policy. In this way, we also ensure for our business partners that we comply with our due diligence obligations along the supply chain and empower our employees to make informed decisions. Of course, our journey does not end here. We plan to continue to improve our performance to remain your “Distributor of Choice” and will report on the implementation of new measures in the next EcoVadis assessment.

By participating in sustainability assessments, we can transparently present our efforts in the area of sustainability, identify weaknesses and implement targeted improvements. These assessments allow us to continuously measure our progress and benchmark ourselves against industry best practice. In addition, we receive an independent assessment of our sustainability performance, which provides our business partners with a credible and transparent assessment of our operational processes and strengthens confidence in our responsible actions.
