What are cosmetic active ingredients?

Active ingredients are cosmetic ingredients that can actively improve one or more skin problems with scientifically proven effects, for example “Vitamin C” or “Hyaloron”.

Do all ingredients have to be listed on cosmetics products?

All ingredients of the cosmetic products must be declared on the packaging. The individual substances are listed in descending order of their concentration in the total product. In the case of active ingredients that are contained in quantities of less than one percent, this order is no longer prescribed.
